AESTHETIC REDUCTION TO ESSENTIAL FACTORS

At the campus Inffeldgasse, a university centre associated with the TU Graz and consisting of several buildings, three office towers were raised in accordance with the design concept by architect Ernst Giselbrecht + Partner.

The façade elements are executed in white and equipped with white gratings made of hot-dip galvanised steel, type “33 x 33/ 20 x 3“ which function as maintenance bridges and sun protection at the same time. ProMetall elements lend lightness and an austere elegance to the impressive construction, thus doing the subject “technical studies” justice. The minimalist language makes the construction appear matter-of-fact, yet extremely striking, at the same time.
