CONNECTING FENCES

The non-profit St. Josef Hospital Vienna, founded in 1930 by the Salvatorian Sisters is part of the Vinzenz Group and located in Vienna’s 13th district; it has undergone several conversion phases since 2014.

The construction project had two goals: the expansion of the obstetrics department into a parent-child-centre, and the expansion of the oncological focus. Amongst other things, it was equipped with new fence elements, supplied by ProMetall. The perforated metal sheets made of aluminium type “RM 17-30”, thickness 2 mm, were coated with RAL 1035, pearl beige. The sophisticated combination of perforated metal sheet design, gold colour and aesthetic arrangement of the individual components creates a contemporary architectural image that includes everyone and thus perfectly reflects the Salvatorian spirit.
