EXCLUSIVE LIVING WITH A VIEW OF THE GLORIETTE

The ARGE team of architects expanded a 2nd-district, three-floor corner building dating back to the Gruenderzeit by 11 top-floor flats with a total floor space of 730 m2 plus various outdoor spaces.

ProMetall supplied balcony panels made of hot-dip galvanised gratings, special type “22×22”, that were combined with wood to create elegant and extremely stable balustrade elements for the three-floor roof extension. The steel gratings exhibit flat frames, this visually lightens the robust construction and adapts it to the modern architecture concept. Josefstadt was enriched by another example of the successful merger of classical and modern architecture which connects different generations.
