A TRADITIONAL COMPANY TAKES CENTRE STAGE IN A NEW LOOK
The new OEAMTC building “Salzburg North“ was built in 2016, based on plans by the architects at SNP who achieved the perfect realisation of the project’s various functional and city-building aspects.
The exterior image is characterised by the various utilisation units, recognisable by the various materials and colours as well as various types of sun protection. The façade which is made of powder-coated, foldable sun protection slats was supervised by ProMetall from design to realisation; it provides a high degree of user comfort and is visually vibrant and refreshing. The project intends to communicate clarity, openness and transparency to customers, it is also a splendid example of ProMetall’s perfect support regarding visual requirements and technical possibilities, economic optimisation, mass production and timely delivery.
PERFORATED METAL SHEET – a new take on a classic
Perforated metal sheets have been produced in Europe since the late 19th century. In the past, perforated metal sheets were mainly used as sieve and filter elements and as protective plates in industry and machine construction. Creative designers and Western European product experts found new applications for the functional metal sheet – in the form of innovative designs for façade construction. Perforated metal sheets are popular for visual protection of façades in modern residential, hotel and office complexes and are often used for staircases and balconies. Nevertheless, perforated metal sheet has retained its practical character in the design sector and is also used as sound insulation in building construction.
