ProMetall has become a specialist when it comes to cladding shopping centres which is once again proven by the centre Alex in Krems.
Here you’ll find more than 50 shops, culinary and service establishments – all cladded with a tailor-made façade by ProMetall. The delivery dates, adapted to various construction phases, were accurately observed. This ensured that the grey-white (RAL9002) powder-coated expanded metal type “Eisenstadt” which covers an area of 1,500 m2 was installed by the metal manufacturer on time. Especially for commercial construction projects, timely delivery of materials when they are needed in order to prevent delays or even a stop to the construction process, is crucial. The only way to avoid penalties and other high costs is to ensure that industries work together smoothly and that manufacturing deadlines are observed. EXPANDED METALS – practical and elegant
Expanded metals and expanded grates are made of a single piece of metal to ensure there are no strands causing wear and tear and no weighed-down connections or welding seams. As a result, the sustainable, robust material exhibits significant strength and surface stability which makes it ideal for use in façade design. Various materials can be used, the mesh is generally diagonal, hexagonal, round or square, neither twisted nor welded. Depending on the type, various effects are possible. The material retains its inner stability even when it is cut. Due to their 3-dimensional character, façades made of expanded metal turn into “eye catchers”.
